I am a loss for words...
I don't think I really use my blog as an outlet for all my emotion like people do. I kinda say what bugs me, and what's goin on, and good things...but never when I'm really mad, or irritated. I know I wrote one really emotional entry when pop had his stroke, which is about 3 years ago now...but since then, i've never really posted when I'm mad or venting, or whatever. I just don't think it's for me. Not that I'm watching who's reading my entries...well, at least when I'm mad(he he he), I just don't think venting through writing is therapeutic for me like it is for others. Rather, I think going for a drive or going running or praying is more my thing. Or...I just vent to Cicely, he he he. I think it's kinda cool that some of my friends can totally use their online journals, or written journals for that matter, as modes for venting frustration and anger. Some write in private, some post it on the public forum for all to read, not caring what people think. I think both are equally cool. Expressing emotion is healthy right? So why not?
In light of the above topic...I got into thinking....
You know what bothers me sometimes? Well, not sometimes, I guess just bothers me period...is that people can be so deluded about things, like trying to justify that just are not right. I mean, I remember this thing on TV one time, I forget what show it was, but some girl was hookin up with some guy, that was already in a relationship. But they were already on the rocks and their relationship was doomed anyway. Just because the relationship is already headed for the toilet, still doesn't make it right. Someone is still cheating, no matter how one tries to spin it. And I used to think that this stuff happened just on TV, but it doesn't. It happens all around man, it's kinda crazy. I mean, of course we all want to be able to say that what we are doing is the right thing, but hey, everyone can't be right all the time. I'm not really going anywhere with this, just wanted to say how it bothered me.
Oh yeah, I wanted to blog about this earlier but I didn't have time, since I took off work early. Beeb took me to HOB in Anaheim yesterday to see the ever-energetic, multi-talented, often-imitated-but-never-duplicated....Jamie Cullum. Man, that dude rocked the house! Not only is he talented, but his entire band is... He did this radio hip/hop medley that was awesome, and their drummer just walked around the set making beats out of everything...mics, keyboards, the floor, etc. And that's just to name a few. I thoroughly thoroughly THOROUGHLY enjoyed that show. Thanks soooo much beeb! YOU rock!!!!
